If only I sounded like David Sedaris

Kingdom Heart update: none! Because my parents were here all weekend and we did other things that didn't involve playing video games.

Apartment furniture update: we now have a new floor lamp, sitting chair, and two end tables from IKEA. Yay! Last week, Katie also managed to get my old white desk back, too. Our place is shaping up nicely, and my parents liked it, too.

Katie enjoyed kayaking on Friday, so maybe we'll go kayaking together sometime. We went to Poli for lunch on Saturday, which was delicious. We went to Quantum Theatre's Dark of the Moon on Saturday night, which was interesting and engaging. We went to a friend's house on Sunday, which was a bunch of Chinese people sitting around a dinner table talking loudly.

This weekend turned out pretty well. I think my parents had a good time, enjoyed our apartment, and overall think Katie and I are going to survive on our own. Look for my new audiobook readings soon. And who knows? I may be Hen #3 in an upcoming failed Disney animated venture!
