Day 103: squirrel fish-less

Today, we tried to get a squirrel fish to eat, but we couldn’t. So we got a different fish instead.

The Dube juggling store was closed, so it looks like I won’t be able to visit it this trip after all.

Aside from these slight disappointments, this trip has been quite a success so far. Tomorrow, we bus to DC and I foresee some Dunkin in our future.

Here’s a picture from the wedding I took with my phone.

Day 102: pizza with mike

Last night, after the wedding (which was fun and Asian and a bit confusing) we ate in a cave.

To clarify, there’s a restaurant in Edgewater where the inside is essentially a large cave made of paper mâché. I ate a delicious ice cream sundae called the Samurai, to complement the delicious dinner of Chinese food at the wedding.

Today, we went and saw Mike Birbiglia’s one man show, which was entertaining. In case he gets a Google Alert about this, I found him not the least bit pudgy or awkward. He has a unique comic voice, which I found soothing.

What he did, more than anything else, is make me want to eat pizza. So, we are now eating pizza!

The only thing I didn’t accomplish today was going to the Dube juggling store, which was closed. Oh well, we’ll try again tomorrow.

Day 101: wedding

I’m excited! I’m going to a wedding within the hour. There promises to be a lot of food and Asian people.

In the meantime, we’re watching a Sci Fi original movie where Bigfoot ate someone’s face.

I don’t really like horror movies, but there’s something compelling about Sci Fi movies.

Anyway, wedding time!

Day 100: plane crazy

I’m in New York! I’m pretty tired.

I was on a plane and a train today. Then, a bus. Then, I walked.

There was a baby on the train and bus. He waved at me on the bus. He put the top of an unopened coke bottle in his mouth on the train. Babies are great.

I realize that I may appear to be posting this after midnight (local time) but I’m giving myself a free pass today because I crossed over time zones.

Time to make the dymplijgd! That was supposed to say dumplings.
