{"id":676,"date":"2009-12-25T00:20:25","date_gmt":"2009-12-25T08:20:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scott-n-katie.com\/blog\/?p=676"},"modified":"2009-12-25T00:20:25","modified_gmt":"2009-12-25T08:20:25","slug":"day-316-merry-christmas-eve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.scott-n-katie.com\/blog\/?p=676","title":{"rendered":"Day 316: merry christmas (eve)!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s actually Christmas already almost everywhere in the world, including here, but Christmas doesn\u2019t really come until you <em>wake up <\/em>on Christmas day.&#160; Everyone knows that.<\/p>\n<p>My mom is getting into town tomorrow too, so that\u2019ll be exciting.&#160; The three of us (four, if you count the baby) will sit around opening presents, then maybe see a movie, then eat a ham.&#160; It\u2019s a busy day tomorrow!<\/p>\n<p>We considered leaving some milk and cookies out for Santa, but without a child, it seems more like a bad idea than a good idea.&#160; I think what would most likely happen (as NORAD has confirmed that Santa <em>already<\/em> visited our house when we were in church) is that Daisy would eat the cookies and spill the milk, lick some of it, and throw up or poop all over the house.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019d be a Christmas morning we\u2019d never forget!&#160; Although it might be good training for the baby, we\u2019ll probably just open one present each, drink some hot chocolate, and go to bed.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe we\u2019ll watch an episode of something Christmas-y, like Ally McBeal.&#160; Or The Wire.&#160; Yeah, probably The Wire.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s actually Christmas already almost everywhere in the world, including here, but Christmas doesn\u2019t really come until you wake up on Christmas day.&#160; Everyone knows that.
