One side effect of celebrating Christmas at home this year is the fact that all the gift-giving with Katie’s family has happened remotely.<\/p>\n
As a consequence, I expect to get a lot of packages over the next two days. I’m currently tracking about 5 different gifts simultaneously, all of which are traveling from opposite coasts to Portland and DC via two day air. So I can certainly imagine that we’ll be receiving an equal number of packages ourselves.<\/p>\n
On the flip side, I wonder if it’s a good time to be a delivery person (you’re delivering gifts!) or a bad time (your delivery truck is really heavy on the 24th!). And I’m sure some of those things are really heavy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
