It had been going for many seasons now and I’d heard good things about it. Also, with the 360 Netflix connectivity, it was just so easy.

The result? Katie and I have been watching The Office off and on for the past few months, up until a few weeks ago. At that point, some upsetting red words appeared on the 360: The Office seasons 1-4 were expiring on October 1! We needed to hurry!

We watched the second half of season 4 with vigor and finished with a day or two to spare. And, on October 1, lo and behold, season 5 appeared on Watch Instantly. So, since the beginning of this month, we’ve been plowing through this past season of episodes in an attempt to be caught up to Jim and Pam’s (SPOILER) wedding. That episode airs tomorrow on live TV, so I’m not sure if we’ll quite make it (we have 4 episodes from last season and the first 3 of this season to catch up on), but we’re much closer than I would have anticipated a few weeks ago.

So, The Office marathons? Recommended. With such short episodes, it’s almost too easy to sit down and watch a third of a season before you even know what you’ve done.

Oh, and the show’s pretty funny as well.

When Netflix came to the 360, one of the first TV shows I put on the instant queue was The Office.
