Woke up in the almost afternoon.  Went to Arby\u2019s for lunch.  Been cleaning the house and checking my work email and bugs since then.<\/p>\n

Arby\u2019s now serves \u201cRoast Burgers\u201d which is weird.  They\u2019re essentially the same roast beef sandwiches they\u2019ve always had but on a different bun and served with lettuce, tomato, and sometimes bacon.<\/p>\n

I think cleaning a pile of old stuff always takes longer than it should because you find things that you don\u2019t expect and spend a few moments reminiscing on each found object.  Even with only 26 years of life behind me, there\u2019s already a lot of history on the floor of our study.<\/p>\n

For example, here\u2019s a random old picture that I took of Shady Side Academy (where I went to high school) back from when I was but a teenager.  It\u2019s not a great camera and I think that\u2019s my finger blocking the lower-left corner, but still.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not sure what I was thinking when I took this picture.  I was probably attempting to capture the serene snowy landscape and a piece of SSA history.  I\u2019d guess it was probably taken senior year.<\/p>\n

Snow wasn\u2019t uncommon in Pittsburgh, so this isn\u2019t too extraordinary.  Except that the same picture now wouldn\u2019t be the same.  A new performing arts center has been built in the middle of the hill and a new path has been put across the quad.  So, that picture above could never be taken again.  And, of course, there are students in it that have long graduated.<\/p>\n

Something else we came across: the Kudos Award we got right before I proposed to Katie.  Notice that Theresa put a cute paw sticker on the bottom corner.<\/p>\n

Time is relentless.  I wonder what new Kudos awards S\u2019n\u2019S has instituted and whether they\u2019ve dropped any of the old ones.  I doubt they\u2019re still using the web app I wrote for Kudos proposing and voting.<\/p>\n

There are also a few props I swiped from various S\u2019n\u2019S produtions, which one of the best morally ambiguous things I\u2019ve ever done.  Any people still in S\u2019n\u2019S reading this: take a small piece of a production you\u2019re in.  It\u2019ll be the best way to keep a memory of the shows that mean that most to you after you graduate.  I was told that by Hunter Howe, and I wish I had begun to do it earlier.<\/p>\n
